Burntisland (UK) – Project Director for the demolition and remediation of 20+ hectare industrial chemical plant returning the site to a successful residential use.

Jamaica – Developed environmentally sensitive and financially balanced solutions for the closure of several bauxite residue ponds, including direct and detailed negotiations with key stakeholders including local communities and government. 

Romania – Specialist Consultant (Bauxite Residue and Legislation).  Provided specialist advice on the management of an alumina plant in Romania.

Glasgow (UK) – Project Director. Successfully investigated and assessed a rolled products facility in Glasgow, to allow the successful sale of the premises following closure

Implemented ISO14001 changes for Coal Mine, developing improved management plans and systems for remaining compliant with ISO14001.

Aluminium Production and Recycling Facility (Europe) – Project Director.  Undertook detailed site survey and assessment and prepared a closure options appraisal report.

Established in-house data collection and management systems including GIS Geodatabase to connect to and view live data feeds. 

Established comprehensive environmental and health and safety data collection, management and visualisation tool using GIS
